This week at the UT Grotto meeting Walter Olenick will talk about lava
tubes that he had the opportunity to explore earlier this year in Hilo,
Hawaii! These are very different geologically and biologically from
'classic karst' caves, and present some unique challenges in survey.

I thoroughly enjoyed this great video on Charlie Yates and the battle of San
Jacinto. Watching it on my I-phone was very disruptive due to the start and
stop of the catch up process. Can this be purchased on a CD? I would very much
like to purchase one or more.

Charlie. It says “Charles M. Yates age 65 of Dripping Springs passed
away Aug. 10, 2016. Service Aug. 27, 10:00am at Weed-Corley-Fish Lake
