Well, I think the storm is evolving into a pretty big deal with the potential 
for the hurricane to stall out and have massive flooding of biblical 
proportions.

Having said that, we have room for some hurricane refugees. Couple of 
suggestions, please call or email before you arrive so you know I will be home. 
I'm planning on running around taking pictures of flooding and karst in action. 
I would say we have another change at a 500 year flood that we get every 5-10 
years (figure that one out).

Second, there are some things that don't do well in water so I would recommend 
that you pack along your valuables, tank up on gas NOW, etc. Most of you know 
the drill. However, one other small word of advice, alcohol and flooding don't 
mix so make sure you bring the contents of your liquor cabinet with you. It 
might make staying a little easier if you know what I mean.
