I have some thoughts on UT Grotto's search for a meeting room. Someone
posted that we might need a max occupancy of 100. I have been counting our
biggest meetings for years, and they seem to max out around 65 people. So, 70
might work. A pizza/burger joint party room might have a 60" TV

should consider if we want to put wood firing strips on the concrete walls for

Just talked to Don Arburn. He just talked to the owner of P, Canyon, and he
reports that there is plenty of dead cedar and oak, on the hillside above the
road, that can be cut for TCR use. The owner would prefer that we burn his wood
rather than bring in suspect oak. I am looking for volunteers

YEA!!! I finally overcame the last two big obstacles in my physical therapy
that were interfering with my leaving rehab. One was the normally simple act of

There seems to be a lot more interest in the ICS in the Czech Republic next
summer. Seven years ago, there were only three Austin cavers who went to the
one in Greece, but there are already fifteen of us in Austin who are talking

putting the hot tub together that evening, before dark, so it can be filled
with well water that night. There will be lots more to do Friday like setting
