In retrospect, maybe it wasn't such a good idea to climb into the ICS hot tub on the last Sunday night after it had been used for 8 days by 1600 cavers from 52 countries. Or maybe I should have cleaned the mouthpiece on that snorkel I borrowed from Crystal. Or not crawled through that festering guano pile with Tom Byrd and Ed Alexander (Are you guys okay?) Or maybe it's just one of the occasional appearances of one of those oddball tropical diseases I got back in the 1970s, such as "subterranean tick-borne relapsing fever" or Telefomin Malaria. In any event I've had chills alternating with fever, combined with a massive headache and body aches since Tuesday. I'm at 101.2 right now so think I'll just go back to bed and watch my work deadlines go whooshing by. Frank
