If you skip to 23 seconds in the video below you will see 2 lava fissures,
I believe they are calling this Fissure 22

It looks to me like this is really one fissure with a lava cave.

I am going to tentatively call this one

"McFrolicker's Lava Cave Number Two."

What is more interesting about this one is how close it is
to the Geothermal Plant.   ( about 100 yards away )

I have a hunch if you look to the west at the other nearby fissures
that are no longer active, that they are all connected, and someday
( in a couple of years ) tourist will be able to explore the lava tube.


Another house burned down today in the Kapoho area.

It is hard to tell exactly because so many roads are erased, but
I am pretty sure it is this one:

What is interesting about the flow today, is that the active ocean entry
point
is now 1-1/2 mile wide, meaning that entire stretch of newly formed
coastline
has lava pooring over it into the ocean.     There is something like 500
new acres
of beach-front property, that will be void of vegetation for 50 to 100
years.    Much
of that will collapse in the coming years forming beautiful tidepools.
