For those of you who enjoy the recharge zone.....Barton Creek was quite a good trip on kayak this weekend. If you got in on Saturday it was running about 400cfs and 300 on sunday. Lost creek to Capital of Texas was nice but Capital of Texas to Zilker was quite a ride!!!!! I came away with only a smashed knee. I reccomend Cambells hole....... aka the pinball machiene! Helmet mandatory...if you like your skull.
There were quite a few people at Airmans and Bullet but I did'nt get much of a chance to hang out as the current was movin pretty good through there.
If anyone wants to temp fate and toss boats in next weekend give me a shout. We may try to do 71 to Zilker water and weather permitting.
