Cueva del Subterráneo is the most studied of the three Micos caves in the Micos or Río Subterráneo Area, located 15 km west of Ciudad Valles, San Luis Potosí, in the small Sierra de San Dieguito, just west of Sierra la Colmena. The map was published in 2018:
