The NSS (National Speleological Society)  website has many cave ballads that you can listen to. I couldn't find Jan Conn's version of "Dark as a Dungeon" by song title, and not sure what year it came out, but I've heard it and it's great. Another one she wrote is one of my favorites..."The Long Long Crawlway" 1972

Quite a few current and former cavers in Texas--too many to list here--have contributed songs.

Barbara MacLeod deserves special mention. Almost all of her songs are original, and have a wide range of style and story, as these examples show . . .

whimsical: Plastic Justrite; I Smell Bat Shit; Life Is Like A Carbide Lantern
personal: Histoplasmosis; Hollow Hills
mesmerizing epic ballads: The Ballad of Cascade Cave; Encounter of  the Long Count Keeper 

Cave Ballads are well worth listening to, a part of caving that can lead to new passages.
