Many of you have read The Complete Walker, the New Complete Walker, or The Complete Walker III. Some of you may have even read The Thousand Mile Summer, The Man Who Walked Through Time, or The Man From the Cave. I know I did, and his writing, especially The Complete Walker, had a profound effect on my teenage years and subsequent love of backpacking. I still have his books in my library. He'll be missed.
