I personally know people who are single (i.e. no family, no wife, no

Diana,
Love your story. We, too, grew up in a small house in East Texas. It was
probably about the same size as yours, but there was just my sister and me in
one bedroom and mom and dad in the second bedroom. We weren't nearly as crowded

I never got the impression that the Brady's were rich. Anway, the "house"
wasn't a very good true representation. I think the "real" house, only has

Hey David,
I can relate to this story. I spent the first 13 years of my life in
a tiny old shack on our farm that was heated only by one wood-burning
stove. This worked okay because a) we lived in the Seattle-Tacoma
area, which doesn't get too cold, and b) the house was a teeny two-

Louise is right that the popularity of
huge homes has increased the amount
of fuel our nation consumes.

I don't think those
older homes consumed as much electicity as the
homes today.Today, the ric

I would be wary of anyone who also claims that
1) there are no adverse affects of second-hand smoke;
2) there is no connection between the use of chlorofluorocarbons and
ozone depletion;
3) there is no connection between UV-B radiation exposure and melanoma.
