I saw a 4x4 magazine on the newsrack today that I had never seen before. It was called "4x4 Garage."
Apparently, it has been around for about 5 years, but I just never noticed it. The current issue has some interesting information comparing old transmissions. There was an article showing how to rebuild a large axle like on large military vehicles. This magazine doesn't appear to have a home-page on the web. I didn't see a particular month on the cover, so maybe it is an annual publication?
