The sinkhole is about 35-40 yards across. It is only about 20
feet from eating the clinica. The arroyo above the tunnel has
completely overwhelmed the drainage system, rocks are tumbling into
the side of the clinica. Cars are pushed around, puestos
Authorities have closed off the tunnel that leads to the town of Real
de Catorce.
Parts of the tunnel were said to be caving in after the rain of
Alex passed through.
