Their theory is that gigantic caves are on Enceladus and that these
caves are filled with salt water, and that aquatic troglobitic
microbes
could exist in such an environment.

Note they propose a description of these caves as:

      "misty ice caverns floored with pools and channels of salty water."

I guess you would need alpine caving techniques in a cave like that ??
