A caver (or ex-caver) Eric Short e-mailed me asking about getting
plans for my plywood cave, most recently seen at the ICS and a TCR
several years ago, with the idea of building one himself. It is
possible he might instead be willing to take mine off my hands,
although I've warned him it
I watched Mixon's Cave being built at ICS, and even chipped in for a
little while.So I got a little
idea of the effort involved in that.I would like to thank Bill for
all those years of dedication of bringing the cave box it to caving
events.
David Locklear
Don Broussard and Ernie Garza have repainted the front of my plywood
cave, which contains 72 feet of passage, with the Texas bat sticker,
and they also helped me load the whole mess into my trailer. I plan to
drag it out to Kerrville next weekend, but I don't plan on assembling
it then.
Wow.
