Yes, indeed, that is the purpose of grotto meetings, TSA Convention and TCR, as
well. The physical face-to-face meeting has different characteristics from the
interactions on the Internet. Both are fine, in their own unique ways.

You may recall that as Maria began her talk on the anthropology of cavers she
asked the audience why we were at the convention. I raised my hand and said,
"It's the gathering of the tribe." She shouted out, "Yes, that's exactly what
it is!"
