The following light does NOT get my endorsement:

"Led Inspection Light" by Brinkman sold under their
TUFFMAX series.

A fairly new product sold at Walmart.

Pros:

1. Only cost $ 11 plus tax.
2. Uses good LED bulb.
3. Nice bright light pattern suitable for hiking at night.
4. Switch is huge and can be operated with gloved hand.
5. Location of switch makes mounting on side of
       caving helmet convenient.
6. Suitable as a back-up light in your cave pack.
7. Fits in pocket.
8. On one good AA battery, you might get 3 hours
      of light.

Cons:

1. Looks very rugged, but it is not.
2. Not even water resistant. Moisture will get inside easily.
3. Tail cap is very cheezy plastic. Will require duct-tape
after a few caving trips, to hold it in place.
4. Switch feels flimsy.
5. Can't dim light to save battery power.
6. Ugly design and no optional colors.

Best use:

1. Small tool kit.
2. Vehicle's glove box
3. For caver's on a really tight budget. OK for caves that
have dry duck-walking size passage, or vertical pits.

There are several other mini 1 watt LED flashlights for this to
compete with. It may be the worst of the bunch, but also
the least expensive. For a few dollars more, you can get
a much better light.

I plan to take this back to Walmart and get a refund.
