Very interesting! 5pm is right. True BP is as relaxed. Even after good
walking it will be low even to 56 for some time. Statin is still being done
but also under controversy. Low BP consistent is also questionable K. R.

Interesting article.
My observations based on my reading research articles on the subject, which
are too many to be cited here.

--The right time to check our BP is around 5 p.m., because by then we would
have gone through both happy and
not-so-happy events which all affect our BP.
--The BP in the right and left arm, taken at the same time, is never the
same. Doctors almost invariably use the left arm because it is closer to
the heart.
--As you enter a clinic or a hospital your BP goes up. This is known as the
"white coat syndrome". Relax, read a magazine, before you go to see the
doctor for your BP to be checked.
--When your BP is high, in addition to taking the doctor- recommended
drugs, go to sleep. The functioning of all of our organs, including the
heart, slows down when we sleep. This helps to bring down the high BP.
--Check in your prescription whether your doctor has prescribed statins to
unclog the clogged arteries. Accumulation of plaque in arteries
narrows them down and can cause high BP.
--In treating high BP both high BP drugs and statins need to be used to
dilate and clean the coronary arteries to maintain an adequate supply of
oxygenated blood to the heart.

All of the points made in this post are from published research reports, I
did not invent them.
