A senior citizen of any country in any country gets rebate / concession on
every thing.
But in our country any citizen goes to align country to see his kith and kin
for more than 180 days ( termed as NRI ) is denied the income tax rebate , as
against that of residents.
1. Basic income tax limits reduced from 30,000 to 25.000
2' rebate under clause 87 A of rs 5000.00 is denied.
A pensioner and senior citizen looses a chunk of income.
Can any one say the interpretation of law is correct and justified ?.
If so what is the remedy ?
