Artists who seek perfection in everything are those who cannot attain it in anything.
Perfection The Bhagavad Gita defines perfection as Yog or union with God and simultaneously refers to the process of attaining this perfection also as Yog. One who attains such union with God through the practice of Yog is forever free from the afflictions of Shree Krishna's material energy Maya such as anger, lust, greed etc. However, this ultimate perfection of human life, one worth striving for in every sense, is dependent on the grace of God. One grace, especially, is the degree of hunger one has for God. This exists in varying amounts in different people and often fluctuates with the challenges one must face on the journey. For this reason, Divine Love or Bhakti is very difficult to attain. मनुष्याणां सहस्रेषु कश्चिद्यतति सिद्धये ।यततामपि सिद्धानां कश्चिन्मां वेत्तितत्त्वतः ॥ Amongst thousands of persons, hardly one strives for perfection; and amongst those who have achieved perfection, hardly one knows me in truth. ||3||7th chap At the same time, perfection in humans and and machines are not 100% which is utopia; so striving for the perfection is the best ratio of grooming the mind.
