I believe I'm having the same problem. My error message:
Gtk-WARNING **: Error loading theme icon for stock: Icon 'tap-add' not
present in theme
aborting...
Aborted
This problem only happens with the archive plugin installed.
Here's the backtrace:

Thunar has a default custom action (edit>custom actions) to open a
terminal in the current directory, which uses Terminal (excellent
terminal emulator, also written by Benedikt). This is probably why
your missing the icon, but that shouldn't crash Thunar.

Thunar segfaults on a right-click-context-menu with:

I have the latest rodent, tango and hicolor fallback themes installed...
