After I installed Xubuntu on another Machine, refreshing the desktop
worked as expected. Then went back to the first machine and had it
working there as well. So I can't reproduce the bug, but I'm sure it was
there (and for most operations involving files and folders to or from
the desktop). St

Hello everybody,
new to the list and to Thunar, I ran into one problem/question:
When I drag a file to the dektop or delete a file on the desktop, it
will stay there until the the next login/reboot. But when I create a
new folder via the context menu, it is shown immediately. (This is in
Xubuntu 6
