Leo bluespire,
Thank you both for you insights, they are very helpful. I'm still finding

valuable info all over the place. TW5 seems to be progressing quite fast

Hi Stephan,
Yes, now your Global slider macro works in Chrome. Yesterday it didn't.
Thanks

Sure… Because when I created it, I didn't know about the root cause of the
problem. In the meantime I fixed it.

As you already have read in the other replies the root cause for the
problem is the wikified buttontext.
As you also noted, putting a tilde ~ does not generally help.
But puting this as the buttontext will help:
$list filter=[[$label$]]$view field=title//$list
So the full macro is:

Success! One simply needs to ask the right questions. :)
I've been trying to figure this out for the last two weeks. This makes me
so very, very happy.

I have fairly consistently created adaptations of TiddlyWiki to the

There are no doubt a number of factors to what you perceive. Here are two:

Hi Leo (and everyone),
I have a system that works going back to 2005 so I've stayed on the TW

Hi all
I am trying to get to the point where I can experiment with TW5 on node.js.
I installed node.js, used the command line to install TiddlyWiki, and
managed to create a folder in users/dave and edit tiddlers in a browser and
have them save as files. Cool! That is pretty good for a

For the menu, you can create the tiddler you want to display, and then it's

Is there a quick way I can import my entire TW5 wiki running as a
