I find that using TiddlyWiki is very often about finding a way around to do
things. As a new user to TiddlyWikiClassic I always wanted a ToC. I got it
with extensive help from Måns in a danish group. It looked nice but at the
same time I got it, I found that using MPTW with newHereplugin and
Hi Albert,
Nice! is there a way to include this feature in an existing [TWC] wiki as a
plugin ?
Thanks,
Ram

little example, which could be a good starting point for a more
sophisticated plugin:

I think that this feature should be standard in TWC and TW5.

Hi Albert,
1. Support for user accounts and simple roles based permissions. ('private'
tiddlers have two fields for 'readers' and 'writers', each of which list a
set of 'role' tags. User tiddlers represent user accounts which contain a
'roles' field which list the roles they have been granted. User
I am struggling to find a way to publish my TiddlyWiki based application

together).

1. Plugin that automatically generates a Table of Contents based on
tiddler's headers. Like Wikipedia.
2. Plugin to write math expressions. MathML code is good but is too tedious
to write it.
3. Confirm Exit Plugin: Extra safety when exiting with unsaved changes

I agree, if your instructor says when they're moving on to a new topic,
TagglyTagging and NewHere would probably be good for note taking even for
the fastest talking lectures.

There's a plugin for markdown. As far as I know, vanilla markdown
doesn't do TOC.
If there were a ReST (RestructuredText) plugin,
On my list would be a journal tiddler. Title initialized with the date
(formattable), tagged journal. A separate button from the current +
button for normal tiddlers. I think (it's been years) that classic or
MPTW had this.
I also like the TOC inside a tiddler.

Minor addition to my wish list: a link-color field so that you could set
the color for all links to that tiddler. In TWC there was something called
tagged template tweaks that did that. But since the 'color' field in TW5
changes the tag pill color, I wonder if there could be a similar feature
1. Plugin to write math expressions.
Pretty much the only thing preventing us from upgrading.
