[tw] Is an inside out TiddlyWiki possible?

2015-05-03 Thread David Gifford
Ah, well, thinking it through, I realize it would not be that simple, since the html files couldn't be editable in the level of a tiddler without the entire wiki markup built into them, tables, etc. I imagine that might make them fairly large?...still...would love to hear your feedback... -- Y

I meant to explain the title inside out. I basically meant that the notes themselves would be external to the TW file, rather than inside of it. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group. To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving ema

[tw] Is an inside out TiddlyWiki possible?

2015-05-03 Thread David Gifford
Hi all, One goal that is always eluded me is the idea of having one TiddlyWiki file be a hub for all my notes, rather than spreading my notes out among several TiddlyWiki files. Tagging and hyperlinking will always be limited in application if one's ideas have to be spread out among different

For the FastNewTiddler (FNT) *toolbar* I hope to include a toggle switch to let the user decide if the tiddlers are to be created either; - *silently* = Default. No indication that a tiddler is created (other than in sidebar lists) - *visibly* =

Assuming you are using tiddlywiki 5, the easiest way is probably using a button and action-navigate like this (using tiddlywiki.com as an example because that is where I tested it): <$button class='tc-btn-invisible tc-tiddlylink'>Test <$action-navigate $to=HelloThere $scroll=no/> <$action-naviga

To expand on this answer, you can use filters to do that automatically <$list filter="[prefix[Matthew 1:]sort[title]]"> {{<>}} That should transclude all tiddlers from Matthew 1 in a list ordered by name. This has one problem which is the way that tiddlywiki handles alphabetical order, it will
