Yes. I have the same problem with "empty.html" renamed to "empty.hta" on win7
and win8.
For people who don't know hta, search 'hta' in tiddlywiki.com.
I think it's the best way to use TW in an unknow PC without install third part.

Ok, I think I understand what you want.
You have some tiddlers that are categories of skills (OS, programming). You
have other tiddlers that are tagged with the categories and that ARE the
possible skills. You want a macro where you can pass a list of skills and
get back a listing by category

Hi Folks,
I just released a short (3:40) Video, how to backup the public "bag" of
your TiddlySpace content at: Internet archive.org
There is also some short info, how to remove the "ugly" red bar on the top
of the space. So your backups still look nice :)

Update - Hi Folks,
Here are the 2 public beta releases:
Linux, Mac: https://github.com/pmario/ts-backup-bash/releases
Windows: https://github.com/pmario/ts-backup-powershell/releases
There are 2 short videos, which show, how it should look like :) Links can
be found in the readme's.
have fun!
Is it running using the Microsoft HTML Application host, or some other
browser?
If you want to run dangerously, you might try running MSHTA as
administrator.
Good luck,

Ok, this code here seems to do exactly what you want and is simpler.
Explain what it's not doing that you wanted in addition:
\define showSkillParent()
<$list filter="[tag[skill-cat]]">
<$view field="title"/>
<>
Well in actuality there are alot more tiddlers both categories and skills.
dasJobItemSkillTagsNot is the contents of jobitemsskilltagsnot.

I have a long way to go before I get to the level some of you have

Since I don't have your 3rd party plugins, I can't try out your code. But I
don't think your use of <$view> will work. See if this gives you a better
result for boo:
<$set name="boo" filter="[[dayNumber]getindex{$:/_ppmt/temp/selectday}]">

Hello,
I am again probably misunderstanding something but I can't see what.
I have the following code in a tiddler to select a day of week and create a
new tiddler out of it.
\define maketitle() $(year)$ $(week)$ $(selectedday)$
\define getnumber() <$view tiddler="dayNumber" index=$(selected
Alright, let me try this again..
So to be clear:
- The "os" and "programming-lang" tiddlers are tagged with the
"skill-cat" tag.
- The "windows-7" and "sql" tiddlers are tagged with the "skill" tag.
- The "windows-7" tiddler is tagged with the "os" tag.
- The "sql" tiddler is tagg
I don't understand what's supposed to be going on in your filters. They
seem to be complicated and I couldn't get them to work without your data.
Since I don't have access to your sample data tiddlers, I guessed at what
was needed. Here is my simplified version, which I generated with 2
tiddler
Using the macro below I get the following text when I set the field
"jobitemsskilltags"
to "[title[sql]][title[windows-7]]"
- programming-lang
- sql
- windows-7
- os
- sql
- windows-7
It works pretty good..but I'd like only the titles of skills tagged with os

What operating system are you using, and how is the HTA running?
When I tried it under Windows vsn 7, I get a standard security warning
asking me if I'm sure I want to run the code. Then it runs it in a separate
window by itself, that appears to be using the Microsoft HTML Application
host (not
Since there's no documentation for how to make a theme, using your own
stylesheets may be easier. What you can do is make a selection drop-down
like this:

Medium Red
Then you can make a stylesheet (regular tiddler tagged with

I am not certain what you mean by that. Do you mean have a toc but only
show tiddlers from some subset of the full wiki? If so there isn't any way
that I am aware of to make the core toc macros do that. if I ever get
around to finishnig up the toc widget I was making there is a way to do it
but
nvm its silly against tw approach
is it possible to have a toc for a tag and have the toc filtered by
another tag?
