I am not sure in the case of Vivaldi, but as I see, in case of FF and Chrome it is design decision. Accessing the file system "directly" is simple not desired, as it can be easily abused. Google just one to make sure no one creates an addon which can be mess things up. I do not approve this app

Hi Gerardo, This default setting is a bit confusing, since it only defines a default, if no tab-state tiddler exists. This state tiddler is automatically created, as soon as you select a tab. Then the state is saved between sessions. So at the moment it's not possible to reset the sidebar tab
