on most local file links in browsers they download the file type to the

I came across this method to install unsigned versions of extensions. I
haven't tried it mainly because I've held back updating FF, and I'm not
sure how much it jeopardizes your security

I see what you mean. The 2.0 version won't enable on android.
Maybe not a great solution, but my test suggests that the TF 1 will work on
the Palemoon browser on Android.

keep on DropBox and access through my MacBook Air (mid 2011 Intel Core i5)
with macOS Sierra.
I first used Mozilla Firefox (now on ver 54.0) to create and update my TW5

Maybe I have a new version of FireFox that has disabled it's TiddlyFox
Add-on. So I rebooted, reloaded Firefox, and added the TiddlyFox add-on,
which provides these instructions:
*Please note that you need to explicitly enable TiddlyFox 2.x for each

IF SO, click on the tab with TW in it and click the cat to open the enable

You're already "bowing" down by using FF and TF. You're advocating "bowing"
to an edition of FF that is a compromise meant for large organizations and
which makes you sign up yet again for another list. Plus, with the coming
changes, there may be fewer reasons to want FF in the first place.
