In cases like "<>.d" will not be wikified in a parameter unless they are inside a wikify widget. Try first to wikify it and put the new name in without quotes param=<> The angle brackets in a way replace the " " to delimit the value. If you use " " it says it is a litteral string and returns it

Mark, It was my mistake, you are right. I have $:/plugins/.mr/pl1/readme and I used the `readme` in the list and it works for me! I mean the plugin tab in control panel got the label *readme.* So, as you and Mat already said there is no need to set the caption for readme tiddler. -Mohammad -

Hi Mat, I can't find that using a caption makes any difference to what gets displayed. If you put a name in the "list" field, that name will become a tab entry. But it if you didn't provide a matching name like $:/plugins/MAT/myplugin/mytiddler, there will be no content for the tab "mytiddler"

The problem is that title in your filter is a construction operator (https://tiddlywiki.com/#Selection%20Constructors) If the things listed are tiddlers than you can use field:title[X] and it will work the way you expect, but only if there is a tiddler called X. If the list isn't just titles of
