Ciao Mat
I have benefited from you stuff a lot over time. Sometimes the gizmo
itself, or, often more, the demonstration of an approach to issues that is

One issue. I often recall (half-formed) thoughts of things you made (like:
"that table demo with sleeping headings").
So,
@bimlas
I agree with David the Ahrens is useful. Also, in your case, the writer has
a decent grasp of Zettlekasten, as well as changes some software has made
to the original Luhrman approach.

@amreus, I note you're using the SideEditor. There was a bug which might
have something to do with your problem (there was an extraneous
tag). I've corrected it so please update to latest version.

Good idea! Given you worked at getting tools workable for you would be able
to provide rich, meaningful examples.
FWIW, TW would be a Good tool to demonstrate different approaches in. Its

Hi Ivan,
Yep, Quine 2 does exactly what you're looking for, in terms of keeping
everything local and syncing to iCloud (or any other sufficiently
featureful file service provider on iOS).
You can indeed insert images, either embedded in the wiki or sitting in a
nearby folder (though this

Hi.
Trying to understand templates and macros. Can someone see why the HTML is
bleeding through from my template and/or macros?

Thanks.

Ivan,
I only recently obtained and Ipod touch to test TiddlyWiki on IOS, So I am
not expert here. However a few useful points
- Quine may be the only app for tiddlywiki, but it is not the only way
to use tiddlywiki on iOS
- Any browser can access a tiddlywiki anywhere on the Internet,
Mat,
At a high level what workflow do you use designing and developing plugins?
I look forward to the video.

Mat,
Attached is a sideBar width button, that opens a modal, to allow the
SideBar width to be be modified.
It works well for my usage of Sidebar editor, especially on my widescreen
desktop monitors. I share it for two reasons;
- Perhaps you could add it to the sidebar editor window (steal

In prerelease 5.1.23, per Saq's instructions:
Edit $:/config/EditTabIndex and give it a text field "1"
Will allow you to do a lot less tabbing (you still have to go through the
tag field).

You're right!
Is there a keyboard shortcut to jump directly to the tiddler title when
editing the body and vice versa?
Sincerely,
Tired of tabbing.

Thanks Eric!
This also works. I'm impressed that you remember what you did and retrieve
data from the large set of macros/functions you've written. I'm guessing
you've got to hand some form of searchable database that allows the
retrieval of bite-sized data chunks :)

On Sunday,
Thanks Mark!
That seems to do the trick.

To do this in one step, like you want, you would probably need something
like the kin filter operator:

Greetings,
The more I read about TiddlyWiki the more I think is the right tool for my
second brain.
I think Stroll has all the features I need, such as bi-directional links,
reference links, autocompletion, etc...
I have just one question...
Considering I’m only on iPhone and iPad, and that I
Hello,
I'm trying and failing to write a filter expression that lists all tiddlers
that are tagged "some name" (call this list of tiddlers resultA) and then
extend that list to include all tiddlers that are tagged with the names in
resultA. For the general case this would continue recursively

Eric,
1. No problems running it so far. It exactly meets what I need for a
task I am working on, so I use it for productivity. All fine so far.
2. Do you plan to pack this into a plugin?
3. I propose to set the default formats for date and time to ISO 8601
I too am still using SideEditor - quick and convenient. I like the recent
addition of the "toolbar" and buttons.
I am experimenting with styles in TW and I think SideEditor is over-riding
my stylesheet. Can you confirm? I made a sandbox site here:
