Oh yes. I am missing that one also (not every Tiddler is short)

Hi Jeremy,
you are right. I created tiddlers without the text. After correcting my
mistake, it works like a charm.
Thanks

Hello,
before starting a new project with TW5, I started with an experiment:
I wanted to use TW5 as nodejs server ( tiddlywiki mywiki --server ). To
check how many tiddlers I can use, I created 1 tiddlers named 0.tid ...
.tid with a script.
It turned out that this approach is limited:
ding a JavaScript Macro it's true you have to

Hello,
In general I was delighted to see that in TW5 we have some kind of macros.
Unfortunately the scope of macros is mainly the current tiddler. That means
if I have a universally usable macro I have to copy and paste it to every
tiddler where I want to use it. For me this is almost no benefi

Hello Jeremy,

are older than the installed version.
In the long run, couldn't it become a problem when tiddlers
"$:/core/will/not/be/needed/in/next/version" survive the upgrade process?

what is `variable="listItem"`good for? Seems to work even without that part

Hello Daniel, Jeremy,
I had a look into Daniel's example on TiddlySpot and now I am confused. But
to explain my confusion I have to distinguish between (#1) the text in the
textarea as can be seen in the tiddler view and (#2) the corresponding
field in the tiddler's edit mode.

Hi Jeremy,

Copy&Paste More->System/Shadow Tiddlers to text files and then diff.

Hello,
I upgraded to 5.0.4 with FF. (It's now the same behavior as with Chrome:-)
For normal tiddlers everything seems to work as expected.
Now it comes to tiddlers with titles $:/... . I diff'ed System/Shadow
tiddlers and now I am totally confused.
The following tiddlers are not transfered du
Hello Mario, Jeremy and all,
thanks for your comments and hints.
@Jeremy: I see the problem. Bad luck that the most promising approach is
also the one which promises the highest effort :-(
@Mario: The tiddlers I am talking about are not public. So most probably
nobody will import any of them (
d add complexity in several places).

I would like Jeremy's proposal
\rules +linebreaks -paragraphs
very much, if the scope could be widened to the whole TW also.

Hello,
for me TW5 is already a great tool to handle my information snippets at the
job. Although I used TWC for years and TW5 now, I never got used to
WikiLinks, the automatic conversion of CamelCased words into links. In fact
this often even disturbs me.
I learnt that one way to get rid of th
Wow, great. And it works...

Hello,
I wonder how I can make use myFunction()? Does the mime type (
application/javascript ) only determine the rendering?
Adding "alert(' result of myFunction(2) is: '+myFunction(2) );" does not
have any effect...
