Thanks Eric for the pointer. It confused me at first because it didn't work 
out of the box but it definitely led me down the right path!
After adjustments, this is the final code that worked for me:

Products:
<ul>
<$list filter="[is[current]tagging[]tag[Products]]">
    <li><$view field="title" /></li>
</$list>
</ul>

Awards:
<ul>
<$list filter="[is[current]tagging[]tag[Products]]">
<$list filter="[is[current]tagging[]tag[Awards]]">
    <li><$view field="title" /></li>

</ul>
