You may have interest in this https://gist.github.com/syrte/8062e11d8fec6221820c5f998239af61 An implementation with markdown-it and katex. Install this plugin by dragging the tid file to your TW file and install the official KaTeX plugin list, then you can write latex within markdown tiddlers.
