I haven't had a chance to collate all the suggestions from the hangout.
Based on the discussion so far, I'm planning to implement:
[ext[index.html]] - explicit external link
[[index.html]] - adaptive link that applies heuristics to the link text to
determine if it is external or intern

In the UK we call our timezone British Summer Time in the summer, which is
GMT + 1 hour. In the winter when we jump back to GMT we just use GMT as the
timezone. So, no, I don't think GMT is ever subject to DST. Anyhow, if
you're in Europe the hangout will be at 17h00 local time as usu
Our clocks also have gone back an hour. So it should be 17:00 for me, I
guess...
BTW: GMT has DST, right? So the offset from us to GMT should always be 1h.
UTC has no DST, as far as I know.
