Thanks FND, that's exactly what I did. The tiddler appears at the top,
below the titles. The message is short and the font is small, so it
looks like a thin strip. Plus I have tweaked the tiddler in such a way

I just downloaded the latest release of IE, that is IE8 and now the
CTRL++ and CTRL+- shortcuts work as expected. They can also be reached
from the menu (View->Zoom) and so it is no longer necessary to View-

I noticed a curious behavior in IE7: the page resizing is garbled when
I call CTRL++ or CTRL+-, but if I select from the menu View -> Text
Size -> Largest or Smallest the page looks fine, with characters,
spaces, and boxes shrinking and expanding in the correct proportions.
