Hello all, I need your input here. Is there any concievable situation in which it matters whether someone loads a datafolder directly into the browser from the file system? Yes, I actually have a real world use for this, and it might surprise you a little. But first I have to know under what circumstances it would matter if a data folder is loaded directly into the browser.
I can only think of one case and that is when a plugin overrides the template tiddler ("$:/core/save/all") or the sync and save filters because then the tiddlers arriving in the browser will be different than they are on the server. Can we narrow it down to specific cases we should warn the user about, such as plugins containing certain tiddlers? Or should we add a field to the plugin spec to specify that it is a server-only plugin? What do you all think?
