When you download and/or extract the node package (I'm pretty sure it's unzippable), there is a file (node.exe, I think) that does the heavy lifting. You can copy it into the same directory as your tiddly server files so that you don't need to install node.js on some other PC you might visit.

I now have a portable version of Tiddlyserver working on my Win10 pc, although it is not truly portable. Arlen's instructions say: "You can also copy the Node executable into the folder for a truly portable install." I am not sure what is meant by "the Node executable". I have visited the
