I'm clueless. Can you repro it with my build? It might be an X server bug.

I experience similar issues running DRC's Xvnc build on Debian 5.0.
I am using the OpenBox Window manager and LXPanel. I notice this
type behavior when switching virtual desktops using the pager on
LXPanel. Have not had time to fully quantify what is happening or
