Probably not the answer you are looking for, but I figured I would give my

Another solution would be just to plug it into a modern UPS. Less headaches

John,
Classic application for the 2010B! We used to do this at Austron for
customers, and works well. Of course, you can also use it with the 2100F as
well. Seem to remember some problems with getting the right time constants,
but once running provide exceedingly good performance.

I had a thought, though -- would it be a worthwhile exercise to use
the 2010B as a cleanup oscillator following my HP 5061A cesium?

By the way, the 2010B has three loops, presumably phase, frequency,
and aging. The first loop has selectable time constants of 5, 250, or
5000 seconds; the

I found the schematic and compared it with the 10811A.
I guess I'll just plug it in and look for smoke signals !!

Here is a link to Symmetricon that describes the internal battery, option 002,
for your unit. You may already have this manual.

I had always thought the primary application was to work with the LORAN
receivers, so it's interesting to know that it was used with other
references as well. The 1150 oscillator inside certainly has good
specs, so if the loops don't introduce too much noise it should work well.
I'll run the

Thanks! I'd forgotten that the manual had that blurb near the end. At
least that tells me how many, and what kind of cells to use. Then it's
just a matter of making them fit. :-)
Thanks,

Hi Brian --
I've been looking for one, too, without success.

Tac32 for Linux is in the works. The first cut is running in my lab now but
needs lot more work. I will be publishing the source code so you guys can
help me finish it.

As previously proposed, I would be interested in a multiple purchase of a
Trimble Thunderbolt GPSDO now listed on eBay. This version requires +- 12vdc
+5vdc. A reasonable supply for these voltages is available from MPJA for $5.95.
