nothing gets through :-)

That's 6 BNC connectors, the switch has only three.

Lately, Earthlink has been treating my jpeg and zip attachments
as a virus !! Especially if they are over 1 MB.

Not accounting rules as you meant them, but rather end use rules.
It takes someone with a functioning brain to figure out what the
different pieces of equipment are, and to make sure that the end use

The first time I heard of all-pass filters, I said to myself: what's
the point?
I could say the same about Earthlink's filter (all-reject): what's the
point?

Can the 2100 LORAN receiver and 2010B disciplined oscillator run in a
closed loop configuration with the output from the 2010B feeding the
reference input of the 2100, and the corrected 1 MHz output from the
2100 feeding the reference input of the 2010B?
It seems like this is either (a) the
Hi John,
I did this with my 2000C and a 2010B, and it worked OK, but I never
really liked the results. The 2010B is really a piece of garbage for
general lab use. It has way too course of a step size to be useful
as a lab standard.
I seem to recall that it dithered about the Loran C reference
Yeah, I've heard that. One of my plans is to use the combo to drive an
NTP server (providing both the CPU clock, and the 1pps) and for that the
step size shouldn't be a problem.

Jason,
Yes I have the users guide plus all the information I have found on
the Web. No where, that I have been able to find, is there any
information on the internal status LED's.

Hi Hal:
I got a couple of Austron 2100T Loran-C timing receivers from Government
Liquidation (the private contractor that sells most of the U.S.
Government's surplus stuff). Some time later someone drove hundreds of
miles and stayed at a local motel so he could come to my place and see
each
I have a DataChron 3070 Time-code Generator that I want to use as a time
display and time-code generator. It has an external frequency input, but I
can't find any switch that would allow me to turn off the internal
oscillator and use an external supplied frequency. It has switches on the
front

I've seen units that do the switch electronically. If there's
energy at the external input, the internal source is switched off.

Really!? I don't think I have ever seen a coax switch or relay where all
the grounds (shields) weren't always connected together.

Unless I suddenly forgot how to use a meter, the grounds are isolated. There
is also a visible plastic (teflon?) ring at the base of each coax.
