I prefer PDFcreator http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/
Free without ads, and as far as I remember, better than PDF995 :)

Ian,
If you have time/inclination, I'd be interested to see pics of your
dissassembly/reassembly process.

Brian use PDF999http://www.pdf995.com/ its a printer
driver that prints to PDF file. When installing it just
untick all the other junk it wants to install. You get a few
of ads when using it but its free otherwise.
FWIW why not try installing Open Office? This is compatible with MS Office,
and includes PDF capability as standard, plus it's free.

Wasn't that designed by Sun, the same company that is now strong-arming
itself against Sparkfun to try to shut them down for using their trademark?
The same company just now laying off 3000?

I've been thinking of how to make a sidereal clock that's very
accurate. Things like time of coincidence between sidereal and UTC0 or
better UTC1 come up. There are very few sources for UTC1.
How far out do you want to go on the time-nut scale?
A radio astronomy friend says they get UT1-UTC
I'm finally trying to get this epay 2100L time server to go. First

Hello Mark,
Seems to want to work.
How about a better antenna ? or another antenna ? or one outside ?
How about a different antenna position, vertically and laterally ?
How about a lower feed line loss ?
Possibly a line amp like the Symmetricom/HP 1 X 2 or 1 x 4 RF distro amp.

Yup, you're in good shape. These are pretty straightforward devices.

All,
Or Primo-PDF. It's ad-free, glitch-free and has the ability to alter the
PDF's security settings (ie: make the finshed pdf non-printable). As
usual, no connections - just a happy camper !

There's a copy on Didier's site, it's marked as a draft copy but looks ok.
here's one i haven't seen before. it's on on eb*y -- 280416557414
there's a 10811a, what i'm guessing is some sort of disciplining circuit
and 12 output channels anyone know if you feed it 1PPS or 10MHz? i'm
guess the latter, presumably from a z3801a.
sadly too pricey for my taste.

This pdf does not open with my Adobe 8.0, however it does open with the Foxit

Hi David,
the first filter is complete, but for some potting compound, so it's not very
photogenic (I'll take one anyway).
I'll take a full set on the filter that actually failed.

I have just recently bought a working HP 5345A counter.
Much to my surprise, I find that the oscillator is a Vectron 2810007-11.
The early 5345A counters used a 10544 oscillator, while the later
ones used a 10811.
Can any one tell me what the real difference, in operation, is
between the HP 10544
From my experience with HP 5370 counters that have either the 10544 or 10811
oscillators, the 10544's seem to have quite a bit LESS long term drift than
the 10811's. This is comparing units that have been stabilized for at least
a couple of months of continuous operation.
One disadvantage
