Hi, It just so happens I've been playing around with GPS week rollover on the Tria GPS. I added an option to simulate the next rollover in 2019, and did some experimentation with a REF-0. With this being a current topic in this thread, I decided to do a quick write-up on it:

Following Nick's comment, under the subject "Z3801A and FE-5680A Allen Variances", that he briefly considered designing a board to GPS discipline the FE5680A, I'm pretty sure that a year or so ago just such a board was suggested as being close enough to completion to warrant a request for

I briefly considered designing a board that would GPS discipline the FE-5680A. It’d simply substitute an RS-232 level shifter for the DAC and would speak the protocol to trim the frequency. I haven’t done it, though, because the OH300’s performance specification at low tau is not that far

I believe Dan Watson's Tria GPS receiver project, emulating the Motorola UT+ GPS receiver, will have an audience not only for GPS rollover issues -- but as constellation alternatives increase by 2020 (user choices). http://syncchannel.blogspot.com/2015_10_01_archive.html Heol Designs (France)
