I've also had to replace one. It had a lot of problems acquiring sats. I believe the problem is that the TCXO on the board has drifted out of range. I seem to remember seeing a post somewhere about that and there is supposed to be a fix. Also, isn't the receiver a UT+ 8 channel unit? Or

I have a Z3801A that has lost contact with GPS. The GPS module is working - the list of not-tracking satellites changes occasionally, but it never tracks anything. I've tried swapping antennas and such but that hasn't helped. How often does the front end of the GPS module die? Will the new
