I sort of assumed this group was more likely to be brushing up on tech than on
English Lit.
One other thing some outfits check - they will only email the activation codes
to an account at the school you claim to attend.

total of $115 to use in a T-20 or T-30 series Thinkpad. They are available
for about $100 w/ 500 MB + memory and a 20 GB+ HD.

It appears you have to have "student" status (an ID, course schedule,
etc), and alum doesn't count.

Student versions of LabView are "in bounds" for personal use.
Using the results for publication might get NI's attention, but
otherwise they have no problem with individual use. I have
registered my copy of LabView 8.5 Student Edition & gotten
direct technical help from them with very good result
