Usually lacquer thinner will take it right off, but
it depends on the conformal coating. Nothing will take
the urethane variety off.

there is a hard, clear conformal coating on one of the buffer/divider
boards in my FTS 4050/S24. i wish to make some changes to the board to
get back the 10MHz output that was removed with option /S24.
to do so, first i need to get this coating off in a few areas.
