Very good data!
I am curious about one part of the warmup process. At around 7 minutes, the
power jumps up radically, which you attribute to
the outer oven kicking in. It has often been stated on this list that the outer
oven was intended for
I recently picked up an Austron 2110 Disciplined Frequency Standard.
It's equipped with a 2x40 character LCD with an electroluminescent
backlight. Since the unit is over 20 years old the backlight is almost
gone, but the LCD itself is fine.
It's easy to find replacement backlight panels,

Hi All,
I've picked up a couple of old crystals. Mostly because they look neat.
They are 1Mhz, in a glass tube. The quartz is ~25mm dia, at about 1 mm
thick. Was able to get them to oscillate using a Colpitts circuit. They
will oscillate at 2.851Mhz

I recently picked up a very old (~1962) HP 104AR oscillator. After
replacing three bad Tantalum capacitors, it's working fine. The
frequency is a few PPM low, but I'll leave it for a month or two before
I try to adjust it. ADEV is measuring < 5e-11 from 2 to > 2000 sec. as

Determining the cell filling would likely be somewhat interesting/challenging.

I?m sure they are good cells. The gotcha is ?which one is it??. A normal Rb has
multiple
cells doing different things. You ? umm? errr ? need a set of cells ?.
Why do you think I posed the question "Anybody feeling lucky (or
desperate!)?"?
Hi Mark,
The CW25 is the model number of the little circuit board, but the model
number for the GPS module itself is CW12. So if you search google for
, you'll find the user's manual for the CW12. At
least, it's the version that emulates the Motorola M12.

AFAIK, the Cesium unit in the PRS-50 is a 5045A module. You mentioned a
'4201A module' so this info might not apply.
A couple of years ago, I helped a guy on eevblog fix a Datum 4040A which
used the same 5045A module as my 4065A Cesium. It turned out that most
of the capacitors in his 5045A
