Does anyone have a dead 58503 (inop for whatever reason) with working option
001 display/keypad that they would like to sell or trade? I need only the

My 58503A Option 001 GPSDO had been running 24/7 for the past several years.
A few weeks ago I noticed that the same segment (segment E) in all of the
digit positions was not working, although the rest of the segments were
working as they should.
I unsoldered and removed the Vacuum
Have you manually set the date/time yet?
Last time I powered mine up. I had to update the current time and date and
it locked right up.

Yes, I have set time, date, location and antenna height.
When I first switched it on a few
