Funny thing, I can't find the .openerp_serverrc either. I'm using Debian 5.0.1,
did a full Filesystem scan and got no results.
I'm looking for it for the same reason dharival does.
Already tried all your suggestions.
If you have more guesses, please post!
Thanks

Hi Jan,
Thanks for reply.
Didn't find any file when i searched for .openerp_serverrc file in explorer.
Perhaps one have to create config file first.
Thanks

No, definitely not :-( as it is the manual storage.
If it is in user_home it is a hidden file, thus with a dot in front of the
filename.
Have a search for .openerp_serverrc
or "ls -al" will show you the hidden files too.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I did a search in ubuntu and found the file under:
/usr/share/man/man5
Is this the correct location?
Many Thanks

Wher user_name = the user running the openerp-server!!
This could be a different user you are logged in with.
A other possibilty to look for is in /etc if you use init.d script to start the
server. Many init.d scripts place the configuration in /etc.
