Hi all,
Is there any way we can get an feed for the main TinyOS news page?
I've noticed that the scoop application can generate an rdf feed (eg.
http://www.kuro5hin.org/backend.rdf ).
I'm not sure if its a simple thing for the webmaster to enable, but if
it is, it would be great - I like keeping
Hi All,
I'm trying to make the ultrasound sensors of cricket motes work with a
simple application. I have a couple of motes, each one with its own REPEAT
timer of 1 second. Every time the timer fires the mote send a pulse. The
detector is started and, restarted everytime the timeout occours, in or
Hello;
I feel so bad for not thinking about the chance they were debug messages, I
assumed they were only used for TOSSIM or something like that, not for the
real implementation. Anyway, it did the trick and I got out of the messages.
What intrigues me now is the content of the messages themselv

The MDA300 doesn't expose any RS-232 interface.
The MICA Motes do have 2 UART interfaces (different voltage levels than
RS232) that have shared functionality. You need to first convert your
RS-232 levels into 0-3V levels before connecting to one of these UART
interfaces.
You should be able to use
Hi all,
I want to know what is the max sampling rate for the digital channel of MDA300
board? I want to use one of the digital channel to interface with RS232 serial
port because the particular sensor we got use digital signal with RS232
interface. I heard that the digital channel sampling rate

While I cannot give you precise answer for the expected output on the

same CC2420. The valid values for CC2420 power setting seem to range
between 1 and 31, and they all seem to affect the output power. It

Hi,
I'm trying to get count PowerTossim CPU cycles. I've followed the

getting zero values for my CPU cycle count.
I suspect that this may be rel

Hi Sarfraz,
I am afraid I did not elaborate. Not only the serialforwarder complains
but I get this output message with simcore.sim.stop() enabled:
SimComm: TossimInitEvent received (10 motes)... initializing system.

Hi Junyan,
we did try setting the identical fuse bits, bit still had no success.
the procedure we followed was---
1. use tinyos make and avr-objcopy to generate am ihex file for mica2.
2. read the fuse bits from a mica2
3. set identical fuse bits for out platform via icc-avr
4. flash the ihex cod
Dear all,
In the MPR-MIB user's manual (rev.B), at page 24, there is a table with some
Power Register code and the corresponding TX RF power in dBm.
Unfortunately not all the codes have the corresponding.
Does anyone know the RF power when using the lowest code number, e.g. 0?
Because 3
