Had a closer look at the hashsum mismatches with synaptics. I downloaded the packages that could not be installed manually and tried to install by hand. Synaptics complains about broken tar files in the packages then. Seems like I can't download healthy *.tar.gz files from stanford.edu or t

Still weird though. All I did was unpack the tar.gz file, repack it as a rar file and move it over to a berkeley server. Not sure why you had so much trouble downloading stuff from tinyos.net / stanford.edu, but you should try and resolve it before you update to a newer version of TinyOS if you e
