Maybe someone could unpack the xubuntos-2.1-vm.tar.gz file repack to
another format (say bzip2 or rar) and upload on another server?

I have installed the Sensing application that comes in bundle with TinyOS
2.1.0 in my Mica2 motes.

Had a closer look at the hashsum mismatches with synaptics. I
downloaded the packages that could not be installed manually and tried
to install by hand. Synaptics complains about broken tar files in the
packages then. Seems like I can't download healthy *.tar.gz files from

Hi,
With a packet every 10ms (and assuming that you're using the default
packet size) the Tx block will remain active for about 1.5ms. This
means that the Tx block has a 15% duty cycle while the Rx block has a
100% duty cycle.
What stumps me is why they all run out at approximately the same time,
Still weird though. All I did was unpack the tar.gz file, repack it
as a rar file and move it over to a berkeley server. Not sure why you
had so much trouble downloading stuff from tinyos.net / stanford.edu,
but you should try and resolve it before you update to a newer version
of TinyOS if you e
