Hello,
First of all, sorry if this is my second post of the same question. My email
hung and I'm not sure if the message sent.
I've just compiled my application, and it says that 4447 bytes of RAM have
been used, and I read that the most an Atmel 128 has is 4096, and you
shouldn't use more than 3
Hello,
This is my error output when I execute the make command:
In component `CC1000RadioM':

function `SpiByteFifo.dataReady':

Hello,
I've been making some custom changes to a platform, and when I execute make,
it cannot find definitions for the tinsec.extra variables TINYSEC_KEYSIZE
and TINYSEC_KEY, but it works fine for the same application in mica2.
Below is what my tinysec.extra file looks like...

Hello,
I recently had an issue with RadioCoordinator giving 'previous declaration'
errors. I had commented code out randomly to see if I could change the
errors, and at one point, they looked like this:
In component `CC1000RadioM':
C:\Crossbow\cygwin\opt\MoteWorks\tos\platform\cricket\CC1000Radio
Hello,
I've tried to ask this question about 5 different ways, always with no
response. Below is the error trace I am receiving, and I can't exactly
figure out why it is giving me a previous declaration error. What does this
type of error imply?
mkdir -p build/cricket
compiling Cricket to a c
Is it possible for the group of files that make up an application to be
wired together in such a way that they implement the same events from a
given file and an error occurs with this event because of a "previous
declaration" of the event?
Thank you,
Chris
Hello,
The file RadioCoordinator defines the events starySymbol and byte, and
CricketM is one of the applications that happens to use the function. Am I
right in saying that CricketM implements the event defined in
RadioCoordinator?
I am thinking I am confused because I edited the CricketM code t
In RadioCoordinator, it has the events startsymbol and byte. The file
CricketM provides its own definitions for these, so when I make, it tells me
that it has been previously declared. Is there some way to override/overload
this event to make it work?
Thanks,
Chris
Hello,
I've been in the processing of converting the cricket platform file to
behave more like the mica2 to add mesh support. When I go to compile, I get
the following output:
mkdir -p build/cricket
compiling XMeshCountToLeds to a cricket binary, using binary components
ncc -o build/cricket/m
how I could link the
platform folder to this constant definition?
Thank you,
Christopher Jenkins

I have successfully loaded xmeshcounttoleds and xsniffer on cricket motes,
but when I attempt to do the same with xmeshbase I observe the following

Hello,
I've loaded the example xmeshcounttoleds to some cricket motes and have
observed the counting. I've also loaded xsniffer onto a cricket so that I
can observe the cricket attempting to form a mesh. However, I see no radio
traffic in the 433 mhz band. I've done this same procedure with mica2
I have installed tinyos 1.1.7 to work with the cricket package. It came with
nesc 1.1. However, I also want the ability to compile xmesh code, which
requires nesc 1.2. I have atttempted every version on the tinyos.net site,
but when I use any of the rpm's, the command ncc --version says it can't

Hello,
I am trying to make it to where I can make applications from multiple
directory trees. Originally, I had moteworks and a tinyos-1.x folders at the
cygwin/opt level, but could only make from the moteworks directory.
I reinstalled due to incompatability (updated cygwin and lost make ability
Hello,
I have tinyos 1.1.15 installed and nesc 1.2.8b (latest), but when I go to
make, it says it has a problem with the cygwin1.dll.
From what I've seen on the archives, I have incompatible versions of tinyos,
nesc, and cygwin.
What versions do I need to be current with tos 1.1.15. Moreover,
Hello,
I am trying to build the default cricket software for the cricket mote and
have succesfully made cricket a valid target, and fixed some of the compiler
issues, but now one of the errors has stumped me because I cannot find a

I've been working with a cricket mote and a newer version of moteworks (2.0F)
so some of the file structure is updated and the make command for a cricket
results in some incompatability. I also have a tinyos directory which has a
different, older set of files that I'd like to execute make from. It
I replaced the default code on some of my cricket modules and want to reload
the default, but upon attempting to build, it cannot find the makerules

file that was not included with the software package?
Thank you,
Chris
What are the acceptable bands for the xsniffer application? I could not find
an expressed band, and my attempt to use a cricket (which has a 433 mhz
radio) did not show any packets being sent to the sniffer, which was a
normal mica2. Of course, since xmesh isn't supported officially on crickets,

I am attemtping to get xmesh running on cricket motes. Would it be easier to
augment the nesc code to support the crickets, or am I better off converting
xmesh to java code? I have fair experience with Java, but am only learning
nesc. Thanks!

I went to make and install XSniffer on a mica2dot and it failed because it
couldn't find setbaud in the HPLUART0M code, and neither could I. Is there a
different version that has the implementation of this function?

Hello,
I recently installed MoteWorks 2.0F and went to try the example program,
XMeshCountToLeds. When I went to do the make command, it was unable to find
XMeshRouter, and my search of the directories yielded the same result. I
found a similarly named file, XMeshBinaryRouter, but it does not hav
Hello,
I am interesting in running xmesh on a set of cricket motes. I have been
told that xmesh does not explicitly support the cricket motes, but I do know
it supports the mica2 family, which the crickets are a part of. Does anyone
know anything more about this possbility?
Thanks,
Chris
